Firearms Law SeminarThe Thirteenth Annual Firearms Law Seminar will be held Friday, May 14, 2010. This day-long seminar is a quality course of jurisprudence and legal instruction for practicing attorneys who represent firearms owners, wholesalers, manufacturers and importers, and for attorneys who wish to expand their practice to the representation of such clients. The nationally-renowned faculty will include Congressman Bob Barr, Stephen Halbrook, Second Amendment attorney and author, Robert Dowlut, General Counsel of the NRA, David Hardy, Second Amendment author and http://armsandthelaw.com blogger, and officials from the F.B.I. and A.T.F. The topics to be discussed include the pending McDonald v. Chicago Supreme Court case, subjects for future litigation, self-defense laws and cases, the restoration of Second Amendment rights, NFA Trusts, international arms control treaties and agreements, federal firearms laws and regulations, outdoor range liability, concealed carry, and legal ethics.

Tuition for practicing attorneys is $245 if registered before April 30, 2010 and $295 after the first of May. Tuition for other attendees is $150 if registered before April 30, 2010 and $175 after the first of May. The fee for active duty military and police officers is $75. Tuition includes the full-day course, a set of study materials, continental breakfast, luncheon, and post-course reception. Additional pricing is available for half-day attendance and luncheon-only attendance.

Any Prayer Breakfast tickets not picked up from the "Will Call Desk" by 3:00 p.m. on Saturday will be available outside the Crown Ballroom of the Charlotte Convention Center beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.
