Race Country Tour

RACE COUNTRY TOURChocked full of museums and racing shops, as well as "home" to the NASCAR Hall of Fame and the legendary Charlotte Motor Speedway, you can certainly say that Charlotte, N.C. isn't afraid of the fast lane! In fact, 80% of Sprint Cup drivers even call the Queen City home. No wonder they call this city Race Country!

Give your attendees a real sample of Charlotte's local flavor with a NASCAR inspired tour! Your group will get their engines started at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, where they'll be whisked away for a behind the scenes tour to check out the Sprint Cup garage, infield hospital and scoring tower. Guests will then get to experience life in the fast lane themselves with a ride around the 1.5 mile track for a Victory Lap. Don't forget the cameras! Pictures will be taken in the Winner's Circle!

Next stop – Hendrick Motorsports where guests will visit the race shops of Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and more! Here, guests will hear how race cars are built and see famous cars of years past and today.

Charlotte City Tour

CHARLOTTE CITY TOURIt's a running joke in Charlotte that visitors only need to visit the Queen City once. Why? Because they end up moving here afterwards. See what the buzz is about with a tour of our ever-popular, ever-growing city.

This tour will take your group through the financial district, headquarters of two of the nation's largest banks. Guests will have a chance to roam Independence Square, the heart of the Queen City as well as the historic Fourth Ward, filled with restored Victorian and Colonial Revival homes. Additional highlights will include the Time Warner Arena – home of the Charlotte Bobcats and Bank of America Stadium – home of the Carolina Panthers. Guests will also get a chance to explore a select center city museum where they are sure to fall in love with the beauty and rich heritage of this modern city of the South.

Dale Earnhardt Inc. - Legendary Behind the Scenes Tour

DALE EARNHARDT INCUpon arrival, guests will enter into the prestigious public showroom of Dale Earnhardt and enjoy the many historic cars, displays and memorabilia and videos on show highlighting the life and times of the 7-Time Champion Dale Earnhardt Inc. and the race teams that he began.

Guests will then be taken on an exclusive one hour tour of Dale Earnhardt Inc. which not only provides a peek into the world of NASCAR, but also highlights the life of the legendary champion Dale Earnhardt and the team of people that he touched while owner of this impressive organization. The tour includes visits to his engine and race shop areas and details some interesting stories about this incredible individual.

Dale Earnhardt Inc. will host the Ninth Annual Dale Earnhardt Day at its corporate headquarters in Mooresville, N.C. on Friday, May 14th: The event, which celebrates the birth date of the seven-time NASCAR champion, also serves as a major benefit for the Dale Earnhardt Foundation, with a percentage of the event's merchandise sales being donated to the Foundation. In addition, Dale Earnhardt Inc. Sprint Cup drivers will be on hand for the ceremony, which also honors The Dale Earnhardt Foundation Legend Leadership Award Winners and the Dale Earnhardt Motorsports Scholarship Winner from Clemson University. Bass Pro Shops and the U.S. Army will operate outdoor activity areas, and Turtle Wax, the NASCAR Technical Institute and Hershey's will also be on hand with interactive displays. Finally, Dale Earnhardt Inc. drivers and personalities will be on hand for the ceremony and to sign autographs.
