The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is Atlanta’s public transportation system comprised of a bus and rail system that connects all parts of Atlanta.

Train Hours:

Weekday: 4:45 AM - 1 AM

Weekend: 6 AM - 1 AM

MARTA Fare: $2.50 for a one-way trip (includes transfers) | Children 46 inches and under ride free | Senior Citizens 65 or older pay a reduced fare of $1.00 | 1 Day – 30 Day Passes are also available.

All MARTA fares must be purchased with a Breeze card or Breeze ticket. Breeze cards are $2.00 and may be reloaded for up to three years, whereas Breeze tickets are $1.00 for single use only. 

You can buy a Breeze Card in person at a MARTA Ride Store or a Breeze Vending Machine located all across MARTA stations or online here.

Taking MARTA to the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) is easy!

Use the GWCC/CNN Station (W-1)

If you are coming from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, MARTA has a rail station located at the north end of the airport, near baggage claim.
